Government of Zambia and Fauree Launch National Stakeholder Engagement and Onboarding Session for PAMO, the National Digital MSME Financing Platform

The Government of the Republic of Zambia, in partnership with Fauree Link Solutions Zambia Limited, today hosted the National Stakeholder Engagement and Onboarding Session for PAMO, Zambia’s National MSME Financing Platform, at the Nchanga Golf Club in Chingola. The session brought together government representatives, financial institutions, corporates, development partners, buyers and suppliers to mark the platform’s launch and begin national onboarding.
PAMO establishes a single digital ecosystem that connects every participant in the MSME financing chain — from Government and lenders to corporates and the micro, small and medium enterprises at its heart. Through the platform, MSMEs gain seamless access to supply chain finance, invoice financing, purchase order finance, distributor finance and other working capital solutions designed to close the financing gap that has long constrained small business growth.
“PAMO is more than a platform — it is national financial infrastructure built to unlock the potential of Zambia’s small businesses,” the initiative’s partners noted during the session. By digitising the way MSMEs access affordable finance, the programme directly advances the Government’s agenda for financial inclusion, a stronger digital economy and sustainable economic development.
The engagement session was structured around five objectives: presenting the Government’s vision for the digital transformation of MSME financing; introducing PAMO’s operational framework and capabilities; facilitating collaboration among Government, financial institutions, corporates and MSMEs; commencing stakeholder onboarding; and strengthening the partnerships needed to sustain MSME growth over the long term.
By convening key institutions in one room, the session gave stakeholders a comprehensive view of how PAMO works, opened conversations around strategic partnerships, and set participation in the national programme in motion.
