Accra, October 14, 2025 — In a landmark step toward modernizing Ghana’s agriculture sector, the Ghana Commodity Exchange (GCX) has partnered with Fauree, a leading fintech and agri-digital platform, to advance the Dobidi Initiative under the Office of the President.
The agreement aims to create a fully digital value chain linking farmers, buyers, and sellers — boosting transparency, financial inclusion, and market access across the country.
GCX CEO Ms. Evelyn Abakah said the partnership will enhance farmer participation and attract new investment into Ghana’s agri-economy, while Fauree Managing Partner Mr. Samson Deen called it “a new era for Ghana’s agriculture,” aligning technology with the President’s vision for inclusive growth.
The collaboration will deploy digital onboarding, credit scoring, crop financing, and warehousing integration to support key commodities, setting a strong foundation for data-driven agricultural transformation nationwide.
